As a recruiter in Los Angeles, for almost fifteen years I’ve had the pleasure of uniting qualified candidates with their dream jobs. I found positions for highly specialized attorneys, accounting and finance professionals, technology experts, marketing and business development professionals as well as human resources professionals and general support staff. I take great pride in the fact that the majority of the professionals I have recruited for remain in the firms and companies where I placed them – many of them have advanced to more senior level positions.

There are two advantages I have over other recruiters that make it easier for me to be successful for my candidates and clients:

First, because I have been recruiting in Los Angeles for over a decade, I have established solid bonds with my clients. Many of them work with me exclusively or contact me regarding their new positions several weeks prior to contacting my competitors. In other words, my candidates are often first in line. Second, because I work independently with my partner, Gloria Park, I am not forced to meet unrealistic sales quotas. Sadly, many of our competitors must send their candidates’ resumes to clients for positions they are not qualified for just to “meet the numbers”. The result of this approach to recruiting is immeasurable frustration felt by both the candidate and the client. I want to keep this process as honest and as streamlined as possible. I’m a huge proponent for “headache-free” recruiting!

Prior to recruiting in Los Angeles, I recruited for a national staffing agency in New York City, then for that same agency in Washington DC. I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and got my BA in History from Birmingham-Southern, a liberal arts college in Birmingham, Alabama. I love animals and have volunteered at the North Century Animal Shelter near downtown LA and I’m a supervisor at the Sante D’Or Animal Shelter near Hollywood. My first “real” job out of college was working as the National Activist Coordinator for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in Washington, DC.
